EEEGR (East of England Energy Group)

EEEGR - the voice for energy in the East of England.

EEEGR (the East of England Energy Group) is a business led, business driven energy industry association with a membership comprising of commercial businesses and organisations, public sector agencies, not for profit bodies and academic institutions.

EEEGR's vision for the region is the ".....sustainable production and wise use of energy"

With the strategic importance of energy in the UK established, the value of a representative and specialist organisation supporting sector development is crucial. EEEGR is the only regional body and representative voice with a remit for ‘all energy' across the East of England. It provides support; cohesion and stimulation to help members and the wider energy community deliver against its key objectives. Established in April 2001 it has consistently grown to meet these needs as an ‘all energy' body.

EEEGR operates against five key strategic themes aligned to its vision, which are:

  • regional industry promotion in a global market,
  • strengthening the region's ability to do business internationally,
  • encouraging innovation, knowledge transfer and technology acceleration,
  • stimulating supply chain improvement, and diversification,
  • developing skilled people for the future of the industry.

EEEGR acts as an effective and unique bridge working between industry, the public sector and academia.
