Energy Skills Foundation Programme

Lowestoft College are now taking applications for the pilot of the 'Energy Skills Foundation Programme' that is due to commence in September 2009.  This innovative course has been designed with Employers from all the major Energy Industries since 2005 and has now been developed into a one year programme.  Learners on the course will gain hands-on experience in a range of skills relating to the Energy Sector including Electrical, Mechanical, Process, Fabrication & Welding and Maintenance.  Together with site visits to the regions most important energy sites, this programme will allow Learners to have an informed choice as to what career pathway they wish to follow and could lead to a place on an Advanced Apprenticeship or placement with a local company involved in the energy sector.

How do I apply for a place?
